Transmission: 700r4
transmission help
i have a 1988 chevy camaro. 305 v8 5.0L. my tranny is about to go out and i need a new one. i am thinkin about just gettin a new rebuilt 7004r. but are there other trannys that will bolt right up with no problems. and anyone know where i can get a good tranny fora good price.

what do you consider a good price? you can get a reman 700r with a shift kit thatt will handle 450hp for around 1300
