ok , i gots a th350 in my 84 camaro, how do i know if its got the lock up thing or not?, How many are their that are different, i want to order transgo **** kit for it, thats why and i need to know which one it is. Kit says it should work on any non- lock up thm350 69-up. the guy whom, i baught the tranny off of does not know what its from and its in the car now and leaking from the oil pan, might as well just put in the shift kit since it comes with the gasket. thanks!

 

The 350C has an electric plug; the 350 does not.

There are probably several hundred times as may 350s in the world as there are 350Cs. Most likely you don't have to worry about it.

All 350s are the same, as far as a shift kit goes.

 

ok thanks man, i'm gonna order it soon hopefully she won't leak anymore, do you use any silicon on the pan with the gasket or just the gasket its self?

 

Usually just the gasket. Maybe some grease. I avoid cork gaskets.
