Stock pedal, etc. with LS1 T56?
Stock pedal, etc. with LS1 T56?
Hello everyone.
I want to know if I can use the stock manual transmission clutch pedal, master and slave cylinders, etc. with an LS1 T56 for my LQ4/T56 swap, as I am having trouble finding a complete LS1 T56 transmission setup.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Stock pedal, etc. with LS1 T56?
Thanks for letting me know/ Can you tell me what all third gen components/hydraulics you were able to use? I'm planning an LQ4/T56 swap and I'm having trouble chasing down the smaller fourth gen parts in my area, so if I can use third gen components, life would be easier for me.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think that he misunderstood what you were asking. the only way to use the 3rd gen. hydraulics is with a conversion plate that allows the use of the t-5 clutch and bell housing. the 3rd gen. hydraulics will not work with a LS1 t56 bell housing. they are completely different animals. to use the LS1 t56 bell housing you need the LS1 t56 hydraulics.
