What's not bolting up?
What brand diff did you use? Does it have a torque arm mount?
A GM u-joint won't fit in a Ford yoke.

Yes I added a new torque arm spohn, the stock drive shaft can out about 1'' short and I changed the end of the shaft to fit the ford 9"( not very well). I was looking for a yoke that would bolt up to the ford rear and fit the stock drive.
can you help

You can always have a longer driveshaft made.
The 9" comes with a couple of different length yokes. You may need to just find one that's a little bit longer.
As for connecting the GM driveshaft to the Ford yoke, there's a conversion u-joint available. It's going to depend on what u-joint the Ford yoke will use. You're either going to need a 3R/1310 or 3R/1330 conversion u-joint. Both should be available from your local auto parts store. When you find the proper length yoke, take it to your auto parts store and tell them you want a u-joint that fits it on one cross and 3R for the GM driveshaft on the other cross.

I got a conversion U-joint, but the one I got didn't fit inside the yoke, its resting on the tabs in the yoke and the U-bolts don't quite fit. I didn"t know there were different conversion u-joints. Will the drive shaft be ok 1 " short on the Trans ??.

Proper length for the driveshaft is to push the slip yoke all the way into the back of the transmission then pull it back out 1". The measurement from center to center on the u-joints is the length.
Resting on the tabs. Sounds like your diff yoke is a 1310 and you have a 1330 cross.

Thanks again, I may not be short on the driveshaft, becouse I had to pull it out about 1" to but up to the yoke. The next thing is to set the driveshaft angle witch I have never done. can you tell me how ???
