How can you tell what the stall is on a converter that is in a car?

Thanks

Re: Stall converter

All converters stall. Factory stall speed is around 1200 rpm. The only way to know the true stall speed of a converter is with a transbrake.

Stall speed depends on how much torque is put into the converter. A converter that stalls at 2200 rpm behind one engine may stall at 2500 rpm behind another.
