outdoor-working torque converter !!!

OMG, when I looked under my car today, I almost had a heart attack...

The torque-converter cover is missing on my TH-700 trans. The converter and large pulley beside are working outdoor !!!

I can't imagine the effects on my trans, I believe I need another cover QUICKLY !

Somebody knows wgere I can find one ?
My poor TH-700 has definitely no luck...

Really not a big deal. It's only a dust cover and lots of crap gets in behind it.
Still, you should get one. The 700R4 had a few different covers. I believe you can get a somewhat universal cover that you actually trim to size. One of the local transmission shops in town had one to offer me.

Re: outdoor-working torque converter !!!

i will get my phone book and start calling junkyards and ask if they have one available if they do you probably only need to pick it up and its not a biggy if its not there but like skinny z said its a dust cover and also if you hit something underneath it will protect ur converter
