Superior Shift kit, mod the servo or go vette servo?
I was looking over the directions for my Superior shift kit, and it is requiring me to pull apart the servo, replace springs, then grind some material off of one of the pistons. Would it be a wiser choice to just replace it with a vette servo? Also would I have to do the same mods to the vette servo?

No one knows the answer to this? I really just need to know if the mods I'm doing to the servo make it like a vette servo or what? I'de really like to NOT have to deal with grinding out material and such.

Well I went ahead and grabbed a vette servo already assembled on the pin, it came with a .480 boost valve and I got it CHEAP. I went ahead and threw the servo and the boost valve in while the trans was out and didn't have to grind anything off the pin! It was crazy, there was like 1/4 or more in of slack in the stock pin but the long pin took it right down to about 1/16th. Hopefully everything works out, if this doesn't get the shift as hard as I need it I'll throw in the shift kit.
