700R4 Transmission?
Just curious to know if the 700R4 Transmission out of a 1984 Camaro (5.0L) will bolt up and hook up to my 1988 Iroc-Z (5.7)? Thank you for any help.

I would think they would, since they are both the same block. maybe different flywheel?

I believe you are correct, the 700R4 should fit both of those years. I think it fits from 82-89....someone may want to back me up.

Im more worried about the electrical connections. Is the older transmission going to be all mechanical and the newer one electronic? Thanks again
