Need a pic of T-5 mount

Hey

I am building a hotrod and mounting a 250 ci straight 6 with a T-5 1986 camaro one and putting it in a 1932 chevy that i have been peicing together. So far have a grand in the project. I have to mount the t-5 in the rail and was wandering what the mount looks like that attaches to the t-5 and to the chassis ..

Welcome to TGO. You can see a pic of the cross member in the following link (disregard the second piece and the red donuts):

Re: Need a pic of T-5 mount

James in the picture where can i get that bracket that connects to the chassis and to the rubber mount. Is it expensive , is it something napa might sell or carquest, autozone. I could probably fabricat it out of square tubing.

Another thing that i don't understand quit is the 15 degree tilt that people warn me about that I think the rubber mount causes . Can you explain this

Thankks

The cross member can be had at a bone yard, or the classifieds here, for little of nothing, I'd say $5 to $15, which would perhaps beat fabbing something up. The tilt is at the bellhousing. The mount will go on flat; it's the shifter that's tilted. There's some T-5 info at the top of the page that you may find helpful/interesting.

82-89, generaly speaking. In a hot rod, I'd suggest the one piece, which runs from the cluster directly to the tranny.
