which line?

which line?

im gna be installing a b&m trans temp gauge. which line of the tranny do i tie into to put the sending unit in? im having trouble w my tranny shifting at 3000 before shifts outta first anybody kno what will cause this?

I would put the gauge in the return line after the cooler, so you know to what temp the fluid is getting cooled. Then again, if you have it in the line going to the cooler, then you know exactly how hot the tranny fluid is getting. Its your choice.

It goes in the line that is coming out of the upper most of the trans. Dave
