Whats up everyone. I have a turbo 350 with a high stall torque converter, shift kit and after market clutches. Needless to say, it is really built for racing applications. My first gear went out on me. When I put it into drive, the car just glides. Fluid is in the trans. I just wanna be sure that i need to do a rebuild before i start tearing down everything. Not sure if there is anything else that I can do. Someone told me that this was a result of me not installing my kick down cable.I'm not sure of that because i installed it over my buddy's house who has a 600 hp Chevy Belair and he has the same tranny, but didnt install the kick down cable. He's been driving it like that for 5 years. Just wanna get another opinion before going to work on my bird.Thanks!
