ACT Converter

I have a converter that I bought from Dana (Pro-Builts Automatics) in 2003. I have seen some eyebrows raised about these converter and was wondering if anyone was having issues with this converter? I currently have the engine out and can change it out if there seem to be a problem.

Re: ACT Converter

When I had problems with these TC's, it was almost always in the first 90 days.

What is the problem with the converter? I bought mine in 2003, however I have less than 500 miles on my car and have not rev it high or fell a problem. I do have a hard shift from 1-2 that jerk your neck.

Re: ACT Converter

I have one of these. Only problem that I have is that the TCC will not lock-up. Its long out of warranty now though and I am not sure if its worth the money to buy a new one just for the TCC.
