iv ripped my t5 borg warner transmission apart to put in a new fifth and reverse shifter fork. well the transition went fine and besides cracking and replacing the oil pump washer and flat bearing everything went smooth. ok so wen i decide to test the tranny outside the car i find i cant shift into 4th gear but all the other gears shift nicely. ive had to pull the tranny bak apart 3 times and still cant find out why it wont go into 4th gear. will it only engage 4th gear when it is hooked up to the car?
