PC Driveshaft?

Is it ok to remove the U joints and have the driveshaft powder coated? then put on new U-joints... Will it affect the balance any you think?

Re: PC Driveshaft?

No-one has powder coated a driveshaft before? I did search but found nothing on the subject...

Re: PC Driveshaft?

have it coated, and have it rebalanced (at least checked) after - its really not that expensive.

Powder coat is a fairly heavy coating, so it could throw out the balance.
