do you know about the clutch adjusting rod for T5?
do you know about the clutch adjusting rod for T5?
i have an 83 Trans Am with a T5 I had to replace every single part to do woth standard, including the 279$ clutch cross bar which broke again, and had to get welded with gussets. I went to the dealership for that and a clutch adjusting rod, now my mechanic thinks it is the wrong size and wants me to get it lengthened about two inches, has anyone had to do this before or has had similar problems with it?

had to lengthen mine. Turns out it just wasn't in there right, then it was too long and hit the headers.
If you want my old z-bar and linkages let me know.

You're talking about the pedal return spring?
