everything has gone great so far with my t56 swap, thanks to everyone here who contibuted helpful information.
but one thing i don't know- the wiring. everyone says that the 2 big wires on the automatic connecter go to the neutral safety switch. i looked up the wiring on alldata, and it said the wires to that switch where the orange w/black, and the black w/white wires. which are NOT the 2 big wires. so what do I do?
the wires i have are as follows- its an 88.
yellow and purple (2 big wires) green, blue, then orange w/black, and black w/white.
who should i beleive?

wiring colors almost never match when i'm looking at them either, but i do know the two wires that are bigger than the rest, are the ones for the clutch switch or neutral safety switch. if you want to be sure before you hook it all up, put a small jumper wire in the plug in to jump the 2 biggest ones, if it starts, those ARE the ones. green and blue deffinately are reverse lights though.
