First time changing Rear Axle fluid so i need help
Well I'm about to go and drain the fluid and really have no idea of
- What kind of fluid to get
- How much fluid to get
- Do i need any additives(i saw some posts saying they added additives) if so what kind?
- I have a torque ratchet, what PSI shud i set it at?
- Do I need a gasket?
The car is a 90 Camaro RS. Stock Rear. Going by the Tech Database it's 3.23's.

80/90 gear oil. I would get 3 qts.
additives would be needed if you have a posi rear. If so, Get friction modifier.
You dont get a gasket, you can use RTV, but a gasket would be more professional. You dont have to torque the bolts just do tighten the bolts till the touch the cover, and then maybe 1/2 turn more.
