Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
700r4 - skipping 2nd gear?
Hey guys, recently my trans has been skipping 2nd gear. it goes to 30-35 and jumps to 3rd... and third goes until 65ish or so... if i floor it around 30-40, it jumps back into 1st.
what should i do? drop the trans and replace a band? just replace the filter and fluid? check anything?
i did search the forums and found a couple of things, but nothing concrete (as the problem was solved).

Wow, old thread. ( have to say it or someone else will....)
Its prolly in 2nd gear when it goes to 3rd. 1st is over sooo fast and in to 2nd most of the time you don't notice it.

It's the 2-4 band so replace band and reverse drum
