trannie temp gauge

What do yah use to install a trannie temp gauge? Where does it hook up to on the trannie? I really like the setup that has the gauge pod on the window rail and would like to intall one any help is appreciated thanks guys!!

You will need a temp manifold (T-block for flared end tubing) and extra wire (I used color coded). The gauge will come with the sender and misc. gauge stuff. You need to mount it in-line of the trans cooler lines (or you can use the pressure check port on the driver's side of the tranny, like some have used). I mounted a cooler as well with the gauge, plus I mounted the temp manifold on the return line. So I can tell if my coolers are working. The guage will show ~160'-180' most of the time, except in drive at a stop (it will climb slowly to ~200'). HTH

I really don't know what you mean when u say a temp manifold what is that? So you mount it in line with the trannie cooler?

It's more or less how he described it, a T-fitting that screws in between one of your cooler lines and the transmission, and the sender screws into the 'T' part.
