Tranny update

A month or so ago b4 the site was down I was on here all the time about my tranny that died on me. Well about 3 days after the site went down I got my car back w/ it's new rebuilt tranny. So far: perfect. I've put 2,100 miles on it since I got it back and I haven't noticed any problems. Better knock on wood. If anything it makes a world of difference. It sure pulls hills and the interstate a whole lot better. I'd say my old tranny had been on it's way out for a while, the guy that rebuilt it said that that thing was shot all to hell. I know I'm not gonna go out and spin the hell outta this tranny b/c I don't wanna spend the money for another trans. I was gonna sell the car, but I figured i've already replaced too much on this one that I'd likely have to get replaced on another one. Plus I just couldn't part w/ it.

1986 Berlinetta, 2.8L, newly rebuilt 700R4, 3.42 Posi. 127,000 miles and counting.
I've come to realize that I'm gonna have this car till it pukes for good, b/c I'll never be able to bring myself to sell it.
