Mr.Gasket Tranny mount
By the time anyone replays to this I will have bought a Mr.Gasket tranny mount. It's the only performance mount I could find. Is it worth three times the cost of a replacement? I mean we're only talking about 25 bucks here but still I'm poor(gas is silly). I heard it has neopreene or something like that. Any input on this? Also..aren't they just a peice of rubber?? How the hell did I break rubber? I obviously don't understand. Thanks alot

If you put too much of a load on something, it'll break. I lost mine when I used slicks on one pass at the track. I replaced it with an Energy Suspension unit, and havent had any problems yet. Then again, I havent used slicks again, either.

i didn't feel like paying the $60 for the energy suspension tranny mounts so i didn't use any. just bolted it straight to the cross member. but i have a v6 so i don't think i will have to worry about the tranny ripping out the crossmember. but if you have the v8 it might be a different story
