Clutch Q....

My gears dont engage until the pedal is almost all the way out (towards me) and the gears disengage quickly when I hit the pedal... this is normal, right? Or a sign of wear on this new clutch already?

Hey BLADE, that would be normal since that NEW clutch assembly is so thick, the slave cylinder doesn't have to move far to release or engage. My CLUTCHNET KEVLAR/CARBON FIBER DISC with new PP did the same thing. This enables lightning fast shifts when the assembly is so new. Unless something is GRINDING or the clutch ISN'T working, it should change to what your more accustomed to once it starts wearing more. HTH's

Sounds normal to me aslong as your clutch isn't slipping noticably under high loading.
