How do I tell if I have a 3.27 or 2.77 rear end?

How do I tell if I have a 3.27 or 2.77 rear end?
I have thought this whole time I had the 3.27 rear end, because of it being an 87 IROC. I read somewhere that all 87 5.7 IROCS had the 3.27 rear end. Am I wrong, if I am how can I tell what I have? my RPO codes are gone, so I can't check them

Car: 1989 IROC--1989 T/A
Engine: 5.7 TPI in both
Transmission: W/C T-5 in both
Axle/Gears: B/W 3.27 in both
on another site there is a table that confirm all 1987 IROCS W/ L98 5.7, auto, came with 3.27

Have you looked on the left side of the inspection cover. Every 9-bolt I've seen has a tag on the lower left side cover bolt that states the ratio. Usually have to scrape off the crud.
