what's the best manual transmission available for a stock 91 Z-28 and where could I get one cheap? I heard a T-56 was good?

If you are looking for a good manual tranny that is cheap, the Borg Warner T56 is your best bet. It is basically a direct swap in, you just need to go out and get all the parts out of a 4th gen Camaro or Firebird. On top of that, it only costs about $1200-$1500 for all the parts necessary, so it isnt too costly considering what you get. I am going to do the swap as soon as I can find a time where I wont need my car for a few weeks.
