rearend help

i bought a 92 camaro rs last week it came with a v6 in it the rearend is a 10 bolt i think 7.5 i was told that the rearend is easy to break. i am building a drag car with around 500 hp. someone told me the ring breaks because its so thin. is this true and is there anyway to fix this problem anyway short of spending alot of money

if you are going to build a 500 whp drag car. Then yes you will have to replace the rearend with either a 12 bolt or 9in. You can sink a ton of money into the 7.5 but in the end, it is still a weak rear. Replace it.
