What is a good priced converter?
What brand? Around 2600-2800?
Remember I don't want to spend over $250 if I don't have to.
Also, will it hurt my tranny (TH-700R4 with over 130,000 miles)?
Will it hurt my tranny?
What brand (under $250)
How much?

I've seen several people have good luck with a Dayco converter I was quoted a 2400rpm stall for $159.
Also go to GMPARTSDIRECT and look up converters, I think it was the L35 option code that gave the S-10 a 2200rp converter they have good prices. before thirdgen went on vacation I read about this and they said it was also under $200. Ever look into the vette converters?
All of those should be under $200 and you can put the other $50 towards a good tranny cooler
