Is it worth it?

I guess my question is simple. Is swapping a 700R-4 out for a T-56 worth it? I have a friend who will do the installation for about $400 bucks. Then the cost of the transmission and ALL the parts. It's mind blowing! I know it would be more fun with a six speed, but does anybody regret it? Is it a fair price to pay for the change?

jester and pablo both swapped their autos for the manual and are very happy with their results. better to hear it from them though.

Well Ive done over 5 700R4 to T5 swaps.. I havn't attempted a T56 yet. just dont have the parts available to me to demo it..

Standards in these cars are much, much more
fun.
