will it handle it?
I have a 87 LT and I want to upgrade to a posi unit and 3.42 gears. Will it handle the power of a 305 and 350 v8? When I'm done 300-350hp will be within reach. Would I be better off finding a new rear with posi and sticking a new gear and pinion set it or what?
Also, I have a 10 bolt not sure if its stock (I haven't measured it)

350hp should be no prob for a 10 bolt. Think about this... The LT1 and LS1 cars put down over 300hp and have no problems with a factory 10 bolt.
