Torque Specs for clutch/ tranny
Torque Specs for clutch/ tranny
Just wondering if there is one place I can go for all the torque specs realted to changing out a clutch. Not just the flywheel, pressure plate etc...specs but also specs for the driveshaft , bellhousing to block, tranny to bellhousing, torque arm etc...
I'd rather go to one source than have to sift and compile a dozen different threads.
Thanks.

Re: Torque Specs for clutch/ tranny
I doubt it
I don't really use a torque wrench for most of that though.. Just make it "tight". Go by the bolt size anyway.
All bolts with 3/8"NC threads are typically around 40ftlbs anyway.
516/"NC is about 25ftlbs or so... etc.
Use loctite on flywheel to crank, and pressure plate to flywheel.
