Tremec TKO 600 swap

I have a Tremec TKO 600 in my 83 fox mustang right now. Last weekend i cooked a piston ring and have decided to switch cars and work on camaro.
The Tremec in question has a 26 splined input shaft and a 31 splined output. I believe those are the numbers.
My question is can this tranny be put behind a small block chevy. If so does it require a specific throughout bearing, clutch, bell housing, and d-shaft yoke?
Ive heard something about a input shaft swap, but I hope that isnt the case. Thanks in advance.

i believe the f-body version has a specific input shaft because of the adapter plate that you need to bolt it to the factory bellhousing, the input shaft, if im correct it 1" longer due to the 1" think adapter plate, you need a c6 yoke for the output shaft, and a different trans crossmember or modify the stocker.

I thought that a tremec had the standard 4 speed bolt pattern? Similar to a muncie. If not where can i find this spacer? And what bell housing does the spacer bolt on to? Thanks

It has a ford pattern. If you are using the stock hydraulic setup, you need a 3rg gen hydraulic bellhousing. Fortes Parts connection sells complete kits and the adapter plate and conversion kits.
