I have a S-10 Blazer with 350 V8 and 700 transmission. I am having problems burning
3-4 clutch pack. I understand this is a problem when using a egine with High horsepower. Are there any upgrades available to eliminate 3-4 clutch pack problems? Also if I changed to a 350 or 400 trans would I have problems with the ECM showing a code due to not having wires connected to transmission. P.S. I am using 670 holley TBI

One of the weak points in the 700R4 is the 3-4 clutch pack. When having this transmission rebuilt I install 8 Borg Warner Hi-Energy clutches instead of the stock 6. I also use the Corvette servo, a .500 main boost valve & a .296 intermediate/reverse boost valve along with the Trans-Go Hi-Perf Shift kit.
