need everyonesss opinion!!!!

heres my problem i have a 88 iroc 305 tpi backed with a 700r4. about two months ago i installed a B&M shift kit trans pak. it hits hard 1-2 and at WOT wont go into 3. regular driving it kind of revs up and slides into 3. should i get a rebuild or convert to a five speed. if so can any one find me the whole set up to change it. thanks all help is appr.

If you drag race, drive in bumper-to-bumper traffic, or are just lazy then keep the auto. If you want to feel more in control and can afford the cost of converting your auto to a stick then go with a stick. If it were me, I’d go 6-spd for everything except drag racing. A stick is the $hit in a rolling street race!

Well im lazy and i drag race, so i would have to say build up the 700r4 with performance clutches and bands, get a vette servo, and a good stall converter like 2200-2400. it will be alot cheaper too

Sounds like you could have a fluid level AND/OR TV cable adjustment problem. But, if tranny shot, I agree that TH700 built properly is best bet. I have used quite a few TransPaks and I like them A LOT.
