TRANS ID NUMBER

i bought a 700 from someone on this site, they claimed it was from a 1989 firebird formula 305. from that info i can assume that it is a 30 spline, correct? well i just pulled the torque converter off and counted 27. any ideas on what i got? the id number on the drivers side near the front flange is

it has a torque arm mount, and came with a 153 tooth flywheel. definitely a 700 just not sure what year, etc.

9 = 1989 or 1982 or at least the case is from those years
The YPM is a 3 digit code which indicates a 86-93 casting so the case is a 1989.

The transmission could easily have rebuilt with pre 85 internal components.
