Car: 1985 Camaro
Engine: 2.8l v6
Transmission: auto
transmission ???

will transmission leak fluid if i remove driveshaft to tow car back home, i just bought the car and it's not driveable, so i will be using a tow dolley, and it's more 50 miles.

It will puke some fluid out when you yank it out but it's not like it's going to drain the whole thing or anything, you'll just have to remember to top it off after you get it running.

more than likely you will lose some , but not likely you will drain it dry . if its a t-5 just put in neutral . good luck getting it on a dolly , it can be done . just be careful not to damage g.f.x. . good luck .

i'm going to use a winch to get it on dolly, it's an auto, and i believe that it is a 2.8l. guy said it runs he would crank it up periodically, although now it won't jump off, he thinks it's the battery. been sitting for 5 yrs, so i'm changing all fuids before i try to start it.

haha good times, i remember having put my camaro on a dolley,or car caddy as this one is called, i would always think my front end would be smashed off. haha

hi..im new to this site and have recently purchased an 89 iroc ..i have a 350tpi with the 700r4 trans but i wanted a manual trans so i was wanted some feed back on what would be the easiest and cheapest swap...or on the flip side is there a slightly more expensive one that would be worth the extra cost for results??? plz any help would be greatly appreciated
