bent shift fork?

bent shift fork?
first off this has been bothering me since I got the car.
When I shift from 3rd to 4th I have to move the shifter slightly to the right in order to get it into gear, I can't just go strait down. Is this natural or is there something wrong with my shift forks or syncros?

my 87 IROC does the exact same thing, i hate it, hope someone else knows why it does that.
