Computer Controlled?????
I'm getting ready to yank the computer and install street demon and mech HEI. Does the computer control my converter lock-up or not? Does the computer have any control over the 700? If so, what needs to be done to control the lock-up or whatever else needs supervision?

Yes the computer controls the torque converters lockup in fourth gear.Painless Wiring sells a kit for non computer controlled cars(part#PRF-60109) that will control the lock up in fourth gear. The kit comes with Converter lockup switch, wiring harness, vacuum control switch, and fourth gear pressure switch.
