Heres my problem and I hhope you guys can help. I have a 1985 Trans Am. When I do normal everyday driving... aka "not getting on it" I'll lag in gears and then when it catches the car wil surge forward. This happens in every gear. Now, when I go to get on the interstate or something like that, it wont do it. It will shift through the gears very quick untilit gets to 4th and then it will stay there. And I can stomp it to the floor all day but it wont downshift. So Ill be doing 45 MPH in my last gear, just creeping at low RPMs all the way to 65mph. Please help, I dont want to drive it around much more like this, but its my only way to get to/from work. Thanks
