quick question on t5 swap and ecm
jsut a quick thing i did some reading and just want confirmation
just wiring to the stock ecm harness is all i would have to do to tell it wheich gear its in and all that fun stuff
i shoudlnt have to change the ecm or prom
but if i installed a shift light in teh gauge cluster how will the ecm tell it to light up?

in order to use the factory hift lite you need a 5spd prom or it will light at the wrong times. as far as wiring goes you need to adapt the neutral safety to give you backup lites.
