Zexel Torsen~

Wich Rear End is it that Accepts the Zexel Torsen POSI from SLP ?

10 Bolt with 26 or 28 Splines ?

And Wich year cars Came with this, My 85 is a 10 bolt, But How Many spline axles Do I have ?

It fits a 10-bolt with 28-spline axles. I'm pretty sure your car has 26-spline axles as I don't think they switched until '89. I think you could just get some 28-spline axles and they will work, maybe someone here has some for sale for cheap.

umm didnt they switch in 87 to the 28 spline axels in the 10 bolts??? just thought that was the date, i might not be comepletely correct

Everything I've seen says they switched in 89, but you'll still have to check, because it wasnt a full switch, it was a phased in switch. Meaning some cars had 28 and some cars had 26.

Allright, But all I would need is Some new/ used 28 spline axles ?


Sounds like a very Cost effective way to get Posi ? What would Instlling it detail ?
