shifter **** on a 700R4
i have the t shiftr in my car and i like the feel of the straight shifter like the one in the camaro and i was wondering if it is possible to switch to this **** and if so how is it done and what does it involve

It's really easy. I have a T/A shift **** in my IROC. 
Just remove the clip at the front of the shift ****, pull off the shift ****, install the new one, and insert the clip into the new shift ****. Done. About the only tool you'll need will be a small flat-blade screwdriver or a pair of needle-nose pliers to get the clip out...
