TH 350, what fitting is in and which is out

i asked before but didn't get any where. the trans isn't in the car right now. i need to know to run a braided line to a oil filter and then the trans cooler and another line back to the trans. the in and out part is important to the oil filter. thanks.

I just struggled with this on my 700R. I wanted the tranny oil to enter the top of the radiator and exit the bottom. I pulled the line off of the top of the radiator and started the car. I was hoping oil would run out of the top line. Much to my disliking the oil shot out of the top of the radiator and all over my engine. Tried to switch the lines at the tranny and due to the bends the lines could not be swapped. So the output of the trans goes into the bottom of my radiator. The only resistance to flow is the weight of the fluid column in the radiator. I just plumbed my tranny cooler so the fluid exits the top of the radiator into the top of the cooler and is returned from the bottom of the cooler to the top line. If your car follows suit your filter input line will need to go to the top of the radiator and the return line to the top line. If you are not sure take the top line out put a nipple in the radiator and use a brake line fitting to attach a nipple to the top line. Then you can put two hoses on the nipples place them in a jar and see which one the fluid comes out. Thats the pressure line. The only thing I ask for this advice is to tell me your results. I have always thought the fluid should go into the top of the radiator so gravity could help flow. I would like to know if my car is just weird or just like every other stock thirdgen.
Please respond.

Attach both braided lines to the trans and see which one fluid comes out of when you start the car. Super Easy!

The Fluid Runs UP the Cooler in the Radiator, that is to Say that the Pressure Line is the lIne On the Bottom.
