question on my t5

i need to get a torque arm mount for my t5 to finish the swap this week, and he needs to know if its an mb1 or m49.. what is it? the tranny is from an 87 2.8

Transmission: T-5
If you mean the torque arm bushing at the front, there are 2 types. I don't know those numbers, but the difference is which way the "lips" on the torque arm face, towards the driveshaft or away from it. The cross section is shaped like a "W" on its side. That is how the bushing you need is identified.

Torque arms changed in 84 1/2 (had me very perplexed when I swapped out the T-5 from the hardtop to the T-top car and the mount didn't fit). You can order them from Jegs for like $8.
