slipping trany

My 700R4 seems to be slipping a little. When my engine revs-up the car speeds up but not like it should. The engine is rather new, this summer, but I had my trany rebuilt with a shift kit and a vet servo(what ever that does) two years ago. I bought a 2200 stall with the trany, but the conv. and the trany don't seem to be working efficiently together. What should I do?

Should I mess with it or should I spend a lot of money on a six-speed. (I am a college student and I do commute 60 miles a day.)

Anything below 2200RPM is going to slip a little under normal thottle because of your torque converter.
High stall converters will slip anytime they are below there ratings(for better terms).

This is why these converters are made for the track, so you can launch at your peak torque curve.
