So I bought a converter froma guy on ebay and my have gotten screwed. He says it is a alabama converter stall but it is purple like a precision industries. My trans mechanic looked at today while I dropped off my trans that he rolled or pinched the front pump seal on. He said it could be bad but isn't sure because it may be spragless. He stuck his finger down inside it and turned the splined part in both directions. He said if it is a sprag its f'ed but it my be a spragless. Will it turn in both directions if it is spragless or should it still only go in one direction? It should still have a overrun clutch right? The guy I bought it from says he can't remember if it is spragless or not but swears it worked great for him...imagine that. Its for a th350 by the way
