what is the normal cost the setup a 10bolt w/ 3.42 and a slp posi.
a local shop told me $688.....thats for them supplying parts and labor except the posi..

how hard is it to do it myself??

You need a pinion bearing setup tool and lots of experience to do it yourself. That does seem a little high priced tho.
