Another question about correcting the speedo for a gear swap...
To switch the speedo gears to correct the speedometer reading when the rear gears are changed, do you need to pull the speedometer cluster or is all the work done down by the transmission (where is the driven gear located, behind the speedometer or off of the transmission)?
All the work is done on the tranny. The driven gear is on the back of the tranny (drivers side) and is held on by one bolt and a bracket. Just unbolt it and swap the gear, that's it.

On an automatic trans its easy, both gears are accessible. But on a T5, you have to drop the trans to get at the drive gear. If you just have to change the driven gear, its easy.
