700R4 Kickdown Kit
700R4 Kickdown Kit
B&M offers one, but says that 4th to 3rd kickdown is changed from occuring at 1/2 throttle to 3/4 throttle. Now if I am reading this correct, that means that it is still not possible to be in OD at WOT. Correct? Anyone have this valve thing and know about it, or tryed it?
Thanks,
Vman

The valve I'm referring to prevents the downshift from 4th (OD) to 3rd (Drive) at WOT. So once the trans shifts into OD, you can floor the throttle and the trans won't downshift into 3rd and continues to accelerate the car in OD which gives the benefit of the additional RPMS OD provides.
I believe the B&M part # is 70237.
Now with OD at WOT with the converter locked you've got the ticket for some really serious top end runs.
Let me know if you find out anything on this.
Thanks,
Jake
