Slave Cylinder Tie Wrap

Hi all. I'm changing the slave cylinder and wondering what to do with the plastic tie wrap that keeps it compressed after bleeding. Do I just leave it between the piston and the clutch fork? That seems kinda wierd but I'm unsure how to install the slave without the tie on there. If I cut the tie after installation can I wrestle out what's left? The instructions that came with the slave were very clear as far as bleeeding but that's it. I guess this is meant to be obvious....
Thanks,
Jon

Re: Slave Cylinder Tie Wrap

its meant to stay in place while you install . the first time clutch is actuated it will break . its supposed to . cap on the end of cylinder acts as a bushing with clutch arm . just install and go . good luck .
