Rear end with disc brakes ...
My rear end is starting to go on my 92 Firebird, so it's time to hit the junkyard and get a replacement.
I know it's a longshot, but I'd really like to find a rear with disc brakes and something in the range of 3.23 to 3.42. My car has a 3.23 right now, which I'd like to upgrade, but I'll trade for rear disc.
Any suggestions on what I might pull this off of?

Transmission: Tremec T56
Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
The posi unit is dying? Or something else is wrong on your rear end? Since you have a 92, go to www.slponline.com and get their take-off Torsen posi for $99. Its a direct replacement for your 92 rear end. If you want 3.42's, you can also buy a 4th genners used 3.42 gears and intall them.
