Could anyone recommend a rebuild kit, or upgrade parts for my 88' 700r4 trans. It already has a B &M shift kit, Corvette servo, deep pan, trans cooler, and is using a 2800-3000 stall converter. I would like to beef up the internals/replace etc. My engine is a 383 fully modified T.P.I. and has a 3:73 gear in the rear. I would prefer to keep my trans, as it runs fine I just want to strengthen it so I have no proplems down the road.

performance clutches and band, 5 gear planetaries, 13 vane pump kit and beast sun shell should get you there.

 

also a better reaction carrier shaft. Broken a few of those myself.

 

Yes, forgot about that, the new roller units are much better than the original washer type.
